My gracious big sister, Nza Jeanette. Where do I begin to talk about an incredible sister like you? There is so much to say about you that I can go on for days. In a nutshell, I think about you. I see every characteristic of you in each letter in your name. I think about a jovial, encouraging, angelic, nice, effervescent, thriving, truthful, and effortless sister. You were jovial because you were always cheerful and good-humored. Encouraging because you inspired, motivated, and uplifted any body that crossed your path. Angelic because you were heavenly ordained to come on earth, teach us, and leave us with a smile as you did your task. Nice because you were such a pleasant person to be around, and you wholeheartedly gave your time, talent, money , and daily devotions to everyone you know. Effervescent because you are highly spirited. Thriving because you were prosperous in all things yet very humble. Truthful because you were trustworthy and genuinely loving. Effortless because you were easy-breezy, undemanding, and an uncomplicated person.
I will always remember you looking at the scripture in 1 John 3:16 because you showed the true love that comes from God to everyone you met. You opened your front door, your table, and your life to everyone. You received blessings and passed them on to others. You were a true replica of loyalty, which is love that never fades. I feel so blessed to have had you in my life. People fade, looks fade, and wealth fades, but love never fades. Thank you for giving me that love that I will forever cherish. As it is written in 1 John 3:16, “Dear children let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” You were this love my sister as it is described in 1 John. I will miss you my sister, but I rest assured and know you have passed from death to life because you loved every single soul on earth. The Bible says, “We know that we have passed from death to life because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.” (1 John 3:14). You, my sister, had lived to proclaim your name Jeanette, which means “God is gracious,” and you were that gracious angel. I love you, and you will forever remain in my heart. But God loves you best. Continue to soar in Heaven as God leads you high with your wings, our angel. May your gentle soul continue to rest in peace. It is well!!!
Your baby sister,
Jasmine Nchako
