To My Dear Big Sister, Nza Ja
I can’t believe I’m writing a tribute to honor your life. I truly lack words to express the hurt I feel. It’s such an unpleasant feeling knowing full well who you were and how impactful your life was to many of us within and without our family.

Nza Ja, you were an angel here on earth. Your gentle mannerism, jovial nature, nurturing prowess, devotion to your God, and a dispensation for generosity escaped no one, and are neatly recorded in our memories. Many things will be professed about you by many people. However, I would like to highlight the fact that you were truly a Proverbs 31 woman. You possessed all the virtues prescribed in the good book, which you so adored and lived by accordingly. You were a loving and devoted wife and mother. You worked hard to build a legacy for your family and never ate the bread of idleness.

We will miss you, Nza Ja. May your God, whom you served so well during your impactful life on this dreadful world, honor you. May our ancestors accept you in their realm, and together with them, may you be our guiding angel as you were here on earth. Even though to some death is inelastic, I believe you’re simply on a vacation till we all meet again. Rest well, my beautiful Big Sister, rest well.
